I've had an idea for a month or more that I wanted to share with you all. It was genious...so I thought. I would write with a bleach pen on quilting cottons and create one of a kind fabrics. I started my prep work on Saturday. All I needed to do was determine how long the bleach needed to sit on the fabric to create the writing. After three days of tests and multiple swatch fails.
So far, each swatch has reacted differently to the bleach pen. Some swatches were even from the same designer and company.
I'm putting it up for a while. I don't give up, though!!!! I will figure this out, and when I do I'll share with you.

In the meantime, I'm working on a tutorial for lace legwarmers. I hope to have it together in a day or so. I'm also going to try koolaid dying knee socks/tights. We know that koolaid dye works well on nylon. We'll see how it does on these.
