This is a sneek peek at what our testers are currently working on. Would you like to join the group? This is a rare call to readers who would like to join our select group of testers. You needn't be an accomplished seamstress, in fact the patterns are written for newbie, crafter types. Don't like the traditional pattern, you'll love these.
What's in it for you? You get to try for free a new (secret) pattern. And, learn a new sewing technique or two. What's in it for me? I get real life feedback and photos that will make my patterns their very best.
How does this work? I send you an email and a photo inviting you to test that particular pattern, and give you a time frame in which the test should be completed. I ask that you be gently critical and give suggestions on improving this pattern for others.
You can say yes, or no depending on your life at the moment or need for the clothing item. Whether you test that one or not is totally up to you. You cannot tell/show anyone about the pattern/garment until after it's published on the blog. It must be kept a secret....the hard part.
Also, if you need ideas on where to get inexpensive, quality fabric, I can head you in a good direction. Testing need not be expensive! The t-shirts I make cost about $1 and take less than 1 hour.
If you are interested, simply leave a comment at the bottom of this post or email me at squigglytwigsdesigns @ yahoo . com (minus the spaces, of course)
Happy Sewing!
Debbie
Your patterns are great - I'd love the chance to be a tester:)
ReplyDeleteIf you need newbies, then I'm your gal. I picked up sewing last May and have been slowly learning new techniques with each pattern and blog post I attempt.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely love to give it a go.
I am a quilter and not very good at sewing other type patterns. If you need a "newbie" then I'm in! I would love to learn as I go and give my honest opinions on your patterns.

I would love to test your patterns, I really appreciated your guidance with sewing techniques last spring. I have sewn from patterns before like Oliver & S and pink fig patterns. I would love to give your patterns a try!
