Where have I been...

I didn't fall off the face of the earth or run away. In the past week, I've had a sick little girl, a sick computer, and a hurt back. Since Monday of this week, I've been pretty much on my back. There's nothing like a forced vacation. And, thankfully my dear husband was also on "vacation". He's held down the fort and done my lifting. As of today, I'm doing much better. I still can't sit for very long. I'm standing as I type this. But, can't stand still very long either.
So the tiered skirt pattern that I thought would be written and online by now...is still in notes. Before I can even think about writing it, I need to make sure my daughter's Easter dress gets finished. And, since I can't sit very long, both of these tasks will be a bit more time consuming than they would otherwise be. So...the tiered skirt is going to be delayed some. I really hope no one was depending on it for Easter. If so, please forgive me.
The best part of the delay is that I had a lot of thinking time...and I've got many new ideas to put into pattern. One will be my daughter's Easter dress. I'll post pictures of it when it's finished. For this one, you'll have to learn either buttons and button holes or a zipper...you'll get to choose. Although those can be scary for some, they are not impossible. And, oh, the places you'll go, after you learn it... :)
